>From what I’ve read, the way to communicate with a driver is through text message. I read that Mike May, who uses Uber all the time, set up a text somehow so that, when he types a couple letters, it fills in “I am blind and need you to look for me”, or something like that.

HTH.

Subject: [Njtechdiv] An Uber Question.

Hi All,

Does anyone have a phone number for Uber for assistance if you need to speak with someone within the company for help should concerns arise? Specifically, if they have aphone number for disabled customers who might need to communicate with a driver prior to pickups to let them know you’re blind and need them to be on the lookout for you?

Thanks. I thought I remembered reading a message containing a number some months back, but wasn’t sure if it came through this list.

Thanks for any assistance.

Eileen
