I looked it up, on Google, and it says backspace, or alt-left arrow.  I tried them, backspace didn't work for me, but alt-left arrow did.

  I’ve been using Google Chrome on/off and it seems pretty decent, except
  that I can’t figure out how to go back to the previous page. In Internet
  Explorer I am able to use either the backspace key or Alt-left-arrow.
  They don’t work in Chrome so I am wondering if anyone on list knows what
  the keyboard command is?
