If you buy a General Electric washing machine or dryer, there is a box you can get from a company called First Build which speaks the name of each function.  We have the boxes and love them.  It costs $104 for both boxes but the serial numbers of the washer you purchase must be the same as that put out by First Build.  The number I have for them is 502 8520021.
