SPRING 2019 LEAP CLASSES

We are pleased to announce that the New Jersey Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CBVI) is sponsoring iPad and computer training classes for
the spring of 2019. These free classes are offered through the Library Equal Access Program (LEAP) to New Jersey residents 55 and older who have a change
in vision. 

The computer and iPad classes will be provided by Advancing Opportunities and will be held from March through June. Classes meet once a week for 1.5 hours.
Here is a list of the classes offered:

iPad Basics (6 weeks)
iPad Intermediate (4 weeks)
Introduction to Computers & Accessibility (4 weeks)

Classes will be held at these public libraries in New Jersey: 

Atlantic County:
Atlantic City Library, 1 N Tennessee Ave. (Introduction to Computers & Accessibility class)
Atlantic City Library – Richmond Ave. branch, 4115 Ventnor Ave. (iPad Basics and Intermediate classes)
Atlantic County Library– Mays Landing branch, 40 Farragut Ave.

Bergen County:
Johnson Public Library, 274 Main St., Hackensack 

Camden County:
Cherry Hill Public Library, 1100 Kings Hwy N

Essex County:
Newark Public Library, 5 Washington St.
South Orange Public Library, 65 Scotland Rd. 

Middlesex County:
East Brunswick Public Library, 2 Jean Walling Civic Center

Monmouth County:
Monmouth County Library – Manalapan, 125 Symmes Dr.

Morris County:
Morristown & Morris Township Library, 1 Miller Rd., Morristown

Ocean County:
Ocean County Library – Toms River, 101 Washington St.
