[NJTechDiv] Desktop disappeared

Starting a few days ago, I can't get to the desktop on my Windows 10 laptop.
I Googled some instructions, but they didn't work, either.  They said to
open File Explorer, and Poof, my desktop would be back, but it's not.  I
tried checking it under the Quick Startup folder, but it wouldn't let me
check it, and I don't know why.

Does anyone have any idea how I can get my desktop back?
