oh yeah, I've been using Winamp for over 20+ years, do you think I ever

I accidentally lost the post with the instructions, but:

another way to get to the same settings,

press windows+i to open the settings dialog.
in the search field type the word tablet and press enter.
tab once and spacebar on tablet mode settings.
the first setting when JAWS stops getting excited (repeating) that it's
in the settings mode, is the When I sign in Combo box, up arrow to Use
desktop mode.
now you can proceed (by tabbing) with adjusting the other settings in
this page or just alt+f4 to save and close the settings.

Starting a few days ago, I can’t get to the desktop on my Windows 10
laptop.  I Googled some instructions, but they didn’t work, either.
They said to open File Explorer, and Poof, my desktop would be back, but
it’s not.  I tried checking it under the Quick Startup folder, but it
wouldn’t let me check it, and I don’t know why.

Does anyone have any idea how I can get my desktop back?
