press alt, then t and o. you should land in a search field, so type the 
word downloads, press enter. down arrow to the path where downloads are 
saved. if you want it spelled, press insert+numpad 8 or insert+up arrow 
twice quickly.

Actually, I just found it in a Firefox menu, but, when I ask Jaws to 
spell the filename, all Jaws sees is a graphic.  This is not helpful.  Tech!

most browsers default to the following path when saving a download
unless it has been changed:

"C:\Users\(users name)\Downloads\"

if it's not there, you can see where Firefox is saving the download to.
but first look for it at the above path.

I just told Firefox to save a file, but now I can’t find it, and of
course I didn’t pay close attention to the exact name, thinking I would
see it in my download library.  How can I find out where Firefox put it?

In good old IE, I would do alt-n and tab to downloads, but Firefox
doesn’t have that.

Help!
