[NJTechDiv] Dell power weirdness

When I plug my Dell laptop in, using its adapter of course, and I plug it
into a different socket than usual, sometimes it says that it doesn't
recognize the power source, and it wants to do BIOS setup.  I have to unplug
the stupid thing and hope its battery lasts through what I want to do.

Anyone have any idea what's happening, and how I could fix it?  Even a
suggestion as to what to Google would be helpful.  I have no idea if the
dumb thing will make it through today's convention stuff while I'm in my
home office instead of in the living room.  How stupid is that.
