[NJTechDiv] why is an echo doing this

Hi jane after sports and rec meeting denise let me hear what is actually happing.  When she says any phone number whether mine or the library it says “call from home, HQ or roselse as near as I can guess the echo is no longer associated with the phone number it was.  Someone connected to enable set her echo up for her.  I can’t yet confirm that it’s something about the echo I’m not ready yet to start to get apps on my iPhone so my echo isn’t set upo for it.  When she gives one of the choices it just repeats itself.  She just has to more or less tell alexa to forget it.

I use Do Not Disturb.  I have it set to allow calls from people in my
contacts list, which is very small, and to silence all other calls.

get phone calls when your phone is unlocked.  My iPhone is at work, so I
will need to look tomorrow to see if I can find the setting.  In the mean
time, open settings and see if you can find Do Not Disterb.

Hi list was watching the apple spring loaded event and interesting stuff.
Had to poke around a bit to find it but during it got a reminder call from
sports and rec.  why did that call get through even though I had do not
disturb turned on?  Also for future reference there were several points
where their was video and or audio but no speaking.  I was trying the
airplay screen looking for audio description.  Was I in the wrong place and
should I need an audio described track how do I access it?

To have Do Not Disturb never let calls go through, do the following:
Open Settings.
Open Do Not Disturb.
You will find something that says Silence.  After that, you will find
the choices Always or while iPhone is locked.  You want to tap on
Always.

    There is no way I know of except to ask them their carrier beforehand;
This has been done for over 10 years and the list is quite extensive
I thought back in 2010 there was a generic suffix but will research that
