Jarte works fine in Windows 10. one thing you have to do is disable the
enhanced edit mode in JAWS's configuration:
after Jarte is open,
press insert+f2, type s two times to get to Settings center, and press
enter.
now type the word edit, down arrow two or three times to enhanced edit
and press the spacebar to uncheck it's checkbox.
press enter twice. you should now be returned to Jarte.

Now try typing something in Jarte and try navigating by letter.

if this is not your problem using Jarte, please do explain what's the
problem.

Hi, try Jart or Google Docs is apparently usable now.  HJ Pad is a word
processor (of sorts) built into JAWS, but its purpose is really for
training new users on how to use the product: it has examples of dialog
boxes, etc.
