[NJTechDiv] Siri won't start

Did you try shutting the phone off for a few seconds and turning it back on?

Subject: [NJTechDiv] Siri won't start

 

My husband suddenly can't start Siri on his phone.  He has an iPhone 8,
running iOS 13.7.  I looked in Settings, and Siri is on, but, when I hold
down the home button, it doesn't beep.  It says Listen, but when I tap
Listen and say something, Siri doesn't start.

How can I fix this problem?  My husband uses Siri all the time to start
apps.
