[NJTechDiv] about making filesor folders

Hi,

I am a complete non-expert when it comes to technology, but I am a long-time Outlook user, so I am suggesting the following with the caveat that it may be utter nonsense--
Is it possible that closing and re-opening Outlook might achieve the goal of having the new folders appear correctly in the alphabetical list of folders?

If this is totally off-base, have a good laugh.

he's using Outlook 2016, and his problem is when he creates a new 
folder, it appears at the bottom of the list of folders. he wants them 
to automatically alphabetize so the folders ar in alphabetical order.

Hey less you’re getting confused with files and folders if you wanna
make a new folder you need to be in the inbox so it will place the
folder underneath inbox and before all the other draft sent etc. so make
sure you’re in the inbox and then make your folder and then when you
want to move a message I’m assuming you’re in mail a message to your new
folder use the application key and look where it says move and then
arrow to the folder you want and enter not sure if you’re talking about
windows live or outlook
