press control+shift+escape.  you should be in a list of the processes 
that are active in your laptop.

did the task manager open, and are you in the list of processes?  if 
not, I can Tandem to you and checkout what's up with your laptop.

I have tried every combination of keys trying to do everything I know 
and the windows or rather the screen does not change, how do you use the 
task manager I have no clue

                Hi, I have my work lap top and it is stuck on the
zoomtextscreen.  Nothing I try to do will change the screen.  I am
unable to get to the desk top or even shut down.  Any clue what is
happening?  Previously on Friday it began updates, can it still be updating?
