> 6. Q&A Session
> Les Cameron asked how to lock in the clock on Alexa so that no other command disrupts it. Janie suggested that Les ask the question on the Amazon Echo List.
> Ken Lawrence asked how to make the Braille e-reader read the contents of a thumb drive and recognize that there are updates. Tracy Carcione said he could probably find the answer on the NLS e-reader list, and Janie suggested calling the library to ask about it.
> Chris Franz asked if anyone knew how to operate the Chefman Air Fryer, and Tony suggested using Aira, or to Google the Chefman manual.
> Angela Perone asked if the Startup Wizard in Fusion is the same as the Wizard in JAWS. Tony said it is the same set-up process.
> Brian McGrath is having an issue with his iPhone speaker phone. Janie said to look under settings, sound and haptics, then look for change with buttons. Jimmy Vonderlinden said to make sure there’s no dust in the earpiece, as it could affect the speaker.
> Nimisha Rana asked how to sign a PDF document using JAWS and Tony said she can use Adobe Acrobat reader, but it’s a paid subscription service. Andy Smith suggested converting the PDF to a Word document, then pasting her signature or taking a picture of it. Ilire Goca seconded what Andy said.
> Krystle Allen asked if there is a keystroke in JAWS to pre-schedule emails using Gmail or Outlook. Tony said there isn’t but suggested creating a reminder to herself to send it. Janie puts emails she plans to send in her drafts folder. Janie told Krystle that she could sign up for the listserv if she had any other questions.
>
> 7. There being no other questions, Janie asked the new people at the meeting to introduce themselves. Emmanuelle Steplight joined in November. She works at the VA as a telecommunications specialist.
> Pamela Drayton is new also and would like help with her iPhone and iPad. Janie said Eileen can help her.
>
> 8. Around the Zoom:
> Tracy shared a tip that you can use AIRA to let them remotely access your computer and fill out editable PDF forms for you.
> Tracy uses SERO, a service that costs $6 a month and gives access to all kinds of audio described programming from all over the world, audio only.
> Brian McGrath asked if Amazon Prime Video has a list of all their audio described tv shows. Tony said in the search box, type audio described.
> Janie uses Alexa to play old TV shows by asking her to Open Streamplayer, then play Buzzer TV, which is free to use. There are many varied channels on Streamplayer and the list can be found by going to Janie's favorite source Google
> Ed Godfrey suggested Audiovault.net, which categorizes tv shows and you can download them fast, since there’s no video, just mp3 audio files.
> Lori Falk suggested ACB’s Audio Description Project website, which provides information on what programs are audio described. The service includes movies, streaming services, tv, and theater.
> Krystle Allen found a game called Blind Legend and asked if there are other screen reader friendly games you can play on iPhone or iPad. Ilire Goca suggested GameWorld.
> Tracy Carcione said that Applevis.comlists apps by category, including games.
> Ivis Trejo asked if there are any audio described videos or tv shows in Spanish. Tracy said she has seen some on Sero, and also in the ACB’s Audio Description Project.
