Angela, if you mean the Immersive Reader that is built in to Microsoft's

Now for my spiel, most blind users use it when there is an article on a 
website that occasionally has graphics, links, and other stuff that's 
not a part of the article. The Immersive Reader tries to filter out 
those non essential things, leaving a cleaned up article, making reading 
with JAWS a more satisfying experience.
