Angela, if you press windows+e and you hear this pc, you can down arrow 
to and enter on the downloads folder, or follow the path to where the 
downloads live; down arrow to and enter on the c drive, usually found 
after the videos folder, down arrow to and enter on the users folder, 
down arrow to and enter on the folder that bears your name, down arrow 
to and enter on the downloads folder.

I hope this is what you're wanting.
