Hello.  The way I usually add a new email address is by adding somebody to contacts.  I don’t know whether you use a screen reader with key strokes or if you are a mouse user.  I will give the instructions using key strokes below:
With Ooutlook open, press Control 3 to open contacts.
Press Control n to add a new contact.
A window will come up with boxes to type the person’s information in.  Tab through the boxes and put in whatever information.  You can just put the person’s name and email address in and leave the other boxes blank.
Press Alt S to save the contact.
