[NJTechDiv] NLS player and cartridges

Maybe I wasn’t clear. I’m wanting to put books on the NLS cartridge, which is not a Humanware thing. I put books on my Victor all the time, so I’m clear about that, the unzipping and all. But I think the NLS cartridge might be different and not require unzipping, and I don’t have a player to experiment with.

There is a humanware companion for download if you so desire as another option :

Humanware direct download page

You can download the HumanWare companion from

I have a couple blank cartridges for the NLS audio player, and I want to put some books on them for my sister-in-law. I have a Victor Stream myself, so I don’t use the player, and I’ve forgotten the process. Can I just drop the DB files onto the cartridge without unzipping?

Thanks.

Tracy
