 Hi, Trish,
Miss Ruth here. I've got the Ring Doorbell from Amazon and it's great. I like it because it's connected to Alexa. When we have visitors, her voice will announce "Someone is at the front door," and a lovely chime will sound on my devices.
I downloaded the Ring app to use on my iPad and Android phone, so if I'm washing clothes and have my phone with me, I hear the chime and know someone's at the door. My Alexa is in the kitchen only, so I don't always hear her announce visitors.
If you have any usable vision, you can see video of who's at the door as well on your iPad or smart phone, and even speak to them via your device without answering the door.
I don't know how accessible it is for those without vision, so if anyone else has had any experience with it, they can chime in (pardon the pun).
Take care!
