[NJTechDiv] Windows Fax and Scan accessible with Jaws?

I haven’t had to print out a PDF in order to sign it, though I don’t remember what I did.  There is a menu option in Adobe called “sign”, but I don’t remember using it. 

To tell the truth, I often have AIRA help me fill out PDF’s, as I find Jaws jumps to the wrong field, or doesn’t read the labels properly.  But maybe CBVI does better formatting than the average business.

The .PDF my ounselor emailed me was accessible, but I have to print it out to sign it.  She was the person who told me about how to electronically sign the form, but acknowledged it's complicated.

I’ve also used Docusign, but the person sending the form has to send it through Docusign, and I doubt CBVI does that.

You’d think they’d have an accessible PDF though, in this day and age.

Hi all,

 

Does anyone know if Windows Fax and Scan (the scanning program that comes loaded on Windows computers) is accessible with Jaws?  Although I use K1000 to read documents, I have to use Windows Fax and Scan when giving documents that require my signature to others, E.G., release form for the Commission for the Blind.  On these occasions, a sighted relative scans it on her computer and emails it to me and then I email it to the required agency.  I don't know how to electronically sign forms and it sounds complicated.
