Tracy, were you able to get the files and folders to show up in a
verticle listing as I directed?

Tracy, one way, and you won't believe how easy it is:

When in a folder, press the tab key until JAWS speaks View mode followed
by whatever the view is set. Simply press the left arrow to details
which is also going to be spoken as checked. Now return to the list of
files, and now they'll be in verticle view. Also a benefit to setting
the view mode to details, you can press the right arrow to see the
different attributes of the file. What attributes are spoken for you? I
ask because you can choose which attributes are shown/spoken.

I'm not sure if the setting to details view makes the change applicable
to all folders.

In Windows 10, how do I make Windows Explorer display files and folders
vertically, so I can just arrow down through them if I want?  I think
mine used to, but now sometimes I have to arrow across to see everything.

Thanks.

Tracy
