Regarding the convention
Kudos to all that presented and all who attended
I expect many more subscribers as we move forward together
At convention, I shared that notes from a segment can be listed here
First one is from Anne Marie Harris and her tips for using Amazon for shopping
Here is her document below:
Amazon Shopping tips from the tech seminar 2023
*First, here are all the places and ways to find Amazon deals:
In the search bar type amazon.com/outlet, when the page loads type in the item you are looking for.
Sometimes the same item is a few dollars cheaper than just using the Amazon app
Although being a Prime member saves money all by itself. As a member you can type prime exclusive deals in the search bar.
Any shopper can type today’s deals in the search bar . Deals aren’t only on Prime days.
You can use list to put together items of interest, the app will notify you of sales & coupons for your listed items.
There are 3 other ways to save money using the Amazon app.
1 Enter bargain finds into the search bar. Everything here is $15or less. You must be patient and scroll through the entire page/listing.  No personal searching.
2 You can type Renewal into the search bar. Here you’ll find returned and refurbished items that have been inspected & approved for resale by Amazon. They have a 90 day, warranty.
The last deal , you type warehouse into the search bar. These items are open box and refurbished without a warranty.

*Loading the Amazon app and getting familiar with it:
Ask Siri to find Amazon Shopping on the app store.
Use your index finger to find Get button on the top right side of the screen & double tap
Drag your index finger to the middle of the screen & double tap install.
Your Apple ID is now requested. Fill in the info and double tap install again.
Once you’ve loaded the app drag your index finger to the bottom of your screen. From left-right you’ll find 5 icons: home, inspire, profile, cart,& menu.
You can explore each icon with a double tap to open their page and a finger drag to read info.
All but the profile page have the search bar across the page just above the icons. The profile page has the search bar across the top of the screen.
To shop you must fill in your profile. Here you will provide personal contact info, delivery & payment info.
You are ready to shop. If just browsing, open the menu icon by double tapping. Drag your finger left to right down and across. You will find categories listed. Double tap on your choice. If you know what you want, just enter it in the search bar.
Once you have made a choice you can either add to cart or place order. Both choices are buttons you will find across the screen using a finger drag. It will also give a choice to continue shopping. This is also a double tap.
If shopping for more than one item, repeat process for each item and then double tap the cart icon at bottom. It will announce the number of items you chose and take you to checkout. Here you will place your order.
