[NJTechDiv] Firefox settings

Incredible. I found where to go. From the Tools menu, I picked sign in, and found myself in Settings, where I could set things the way I want.

But I still think Jaws is not seeing something.

Talk about getting lucky.

Press the Alt key and then down arrow, until you find Settings. As I'm sure you know, if it were still that simple in Firefox, Jaws already would've read you the options in the menu. Sounds like an update might've made the menu inaccessible with Jaws.

I agree it shouldn’t be this hard. Where do you go in Chrome for settings? Perhaps they’re similar.

Hi Tracy,

I used to use Firefox before I switched to Google Chrome. It shouldn't be that hard! I guess, an update changed where the settings are?

I want to make Firefox ask me if I want to download or open a PDF. I did it before, but can’t remember what I did.

I google, and it tells me to open Firefox settings, or options, but I don’t find either of those anywhere in the Firefox menus that come up when I hit alt in Firefox.

Google tells me to “click on the bars at the top right of the screen”. Um, what bars? Jaws doesn’t see any bars.

Anyone know how to get to Firefox settings?

Tracy
