OK, I will. I will check with the Ira community today. But I won't guarantee a response back until probably sometime next week. By any chance are you guys using the envision glasses or are y'all just using the app on the phone? And also, please note, I'm getting ready to enjoy family for a few days, so you may not get a response back from me until sometime next week depending on how quickly they respond. If you guys would like to check to see if I've gotten a response back, please don't hesitate to reach out to me on my work cell, which is 254-813-2461.

AIRA is the only app he uses that needs video. You can share his problem with anyone you like.

I guess grocery stores could have a lot of metal in them. We’ll try doing something with AIRA here that’s more complicated than taking a picture and see what happens.
Thanks.
Tracy

The cell bars may not have much of the problem. The sell bars mainly have to deal with the connection for talking. Not so much the Internet connection. But that might be the problem. If it is a building with a lot of metal in it, that can possibly be part of the problem some carriers don't like buildings with a lot of metal in them. Is this the only app that he has an issue with with video? If so, may I consider sending something to the Ira community?

The store is only about 3 blocks from our house, so I’m guessing the cell coverage is the same as here, though you never know. I can try to show him how to check his cell bars, next time he goes.

Hi Tracy, is he using mobile data or Wi-Fi,? Because if he is using mobile data or Wi-Fi, this might be part of the problem. The Wi-Fi may be a little weak for the video signal.

My husband has an iPhone SE, 3rd generation, running the latest iOS.
His video feed keeps stopping while he’s trying to have AIRA help him with shopping. He doesn’t lose the connection, only the video, and AIRA can still take a picture, so the camera is working.
I’m using the same kind of phone, and it hasn’t happened to me, but he uses AIRA more than I do.
Anyone have any ideas? Otherwise we’ll have to try Apple Help.
Tracy
