In case this is useful to someone, I now know how to get a screen shot in Windows using Jaws.

My husband is getting email help with an error, and the tech wants to see the error screen.  

Jerry ran through the process until he got the error, then hit alt-printscreen.  Then he opened Paint, which is an app that comes with Windows, and pasted in the screen shot.  He saved the file, and ran the new Jaws Picture Smart against the file.  Jaws read it and confirmed there was an error message, along with all the accompanying screen.

Worked pretty neat, and was actually pretty easy to do.
