[NJTechDiv] Optimum cable

I don't know I have the Altice box like you do and I love the accessibility!
However, my question is is the fiber one cheaper?

We've had an Optimum/Altice cable box for a long time.  The last couple
days, we've been losing internet and phone a few times, and then it comes
back.  Optimum told us we should get a fiber box instead of the box we have,
but they were clueless about the accessibility of that box.  What a
surprise.

Does anyone have an Optimum fiber box?  Is it accessible, letting me hear
what channel I'm on, access the guide, and access the DVR?
