in addition, if JAWS is being used, according to FSCompanion:

To access and manage notifications in Windows 10 using JAWS, you can use
the following steps:

Open Notification History: Press INSERT + SPACEBAR, followed by N. This
opens the Notification History dialog, where you can review
notifications received in the past 24 hours.

Navigate Notifications: Use the arrow keys to move through the list of
notifications. You can press ENTER on a notification to see more
details, such as the full text, the application it came from, and the
time it was received.

Manage Notifications: Press the APPLICATIONS key on a selected
notification to open a context menu. Here, you can create rules to
customize how notifications are spoken or shown in braille, or choose
not to show specific notifications in the history.

Clear History: To delete all notifications from the history, press TAB
to move to the "Clear history" button and press ENTER.

Quick Access to Recent Notification: If you want to hear the most recent
notification without opening the dialog, press INSERT + SPACEBAR,
followed by SHIFT + N.

Toggle Toast Notifications: To quickly silence toast notifications (like
those from Outlook), press INSERT + SPACEBAR, followed by CTRL + N. This
stops JAWS from announcing these notifications until you toggle it again
or restart JAWS.

These steps should help you effectively manage and review your
notifications using JAWS on Windows 10.
