Thanks Mario. That was very helpful.
It didn't let me download, but it did let me save, which works just as well.

Here's what FSCompanion has to offer:

Here’s how you can access a shared Dropbox folder using JAWS:

list of 5 items
1. Open the link your friend sent you. If prompted, sign in to your Dropbox account.
2. After signing in, you may not see the shared folder immediately. To find it:
list of 2 items nesting level 1
◦ Press TAB repeatedly until you hear “Files” or “My Files.”
◦ Press DOWN ARROW to move to “Shared” and press ENTER.
list end nesting level 1
3. Press TAB to move to the list of shared folders and files.
4. Use the UP ARROW and DOWN ARROW keys to navigate through the list.
When you find your friend’s folder, press ENTER to open it.
5. To download a file, select it and press SHIFT+F10 (or the Applications key) to open the context menu, then use the arrow keys to find “Download” and press ENTER.
list end

If you still don’t see the folder, your friend may need to check that the invitation was sent to the correct email address.

When someone shares a folder with you on Dropbox, they usually send the invitation to your email address. If your friend typed your email address incorrectly, or used a different email than the one you use for your Dropbox account, you will not see the shared folder after signing in.

For example, if your Dropbox account uses janedoe at email.com, but your friend sent the invitation to janedoe123 at email.com, you will not see the shared folder when you sign in with janedoe at email.com.

If you think this might be the issue, ask your friend which email address they used to share the folder. Make sure you sign in to Dropbox with that exact email address.

Hope this helps.

A friend put a group of files into her share folder on Dropbox, and sent me an invitation to get them. I can’t figure out how to get the files.
When I use her link to Dropbox, it asks me to sign in. I did, and now I don’t see her folder. I’m very confused.
