one way is to:
1. Press the Windows key to open the Start menu.
2. Type "Firefox" to search for Mozilla Firefox.
3. When you hear JAWS announce "Mozilla Firefox, app," make sure it is
selected.
4. Press Shift+F10 (or the Application key) to open the context menu.
5. Use the Down Arrow key to find "Open file location" and press Enter.
This will open a folder with the Firefox shortcut.
6. With the Firefox shortcut selected, press Shift+F10 (or the
Application key) again to open the context menu.
7. Use the Down Arrow key to find "Send to," then press the Right Arrow
key to expand the submenu.
8. Use the Down Arrow key to select "Desktop (create shortcut)" and
press Enter.

Subject: [NJTechDiv] Creating a desktop shortcut for Firefox
This is a Windows question.
My husband accidentally deleted the desktop shortcut for Firefox. He
can use search to find and execute Firefox, but wants me to recreate the
shortcut, and I can’t figure out how.
I found info on doing it for a file, but not for a program. I tried
finding Firefox in the list of apps, then hitting the applications key
to bring up the menu to create a shortcut, but it wasn’t on the menu.
Anybody know what I should do?
Tracy
