Hi list have noticed something. I said no to try alexa plus early thinking it was a for pay service but noticed the phone app is now running alexa. This is apparently not a subscription based service. I also noticed my friend denise has it running on her echo. So I'm assuming that when I get around to replacing the power cord on my echo it can be updated or will automaticly. So what is different about alexa plus besides the voice. What is so special that amazon moved us to alexa plus. I have heard there are issues with commanding it the PC app is no longer supported apparently I didn't know that until recently so it apparently won't move to alexa plus. It apparently isn't quite perfected yet. I think I had heard with the phone app typing into it is a bit iffy. Anyone know what is so great about the alexa plus? If it I hope better at understanding me. One of the stupid things I find with alexa on the PC is that it's got a nasty habit of not understanding very simple words like yes and no. I ca't tell you how many times on knight manager I'll answer yes to a question and get, "sorry I didn't get that. Or if I want to see how many diamonds I have it says, "the knight's games are generally played... or say good-bye it just hears buy like I want to make an in app purchase. Or on a yes or no on no, it thinks I want to play blackjack so you go to joe in the tavern. I'm not kiding. No means Joe it can't tell an N sound from a J sound it just hears O. And this is even with a mic I do radio shows on. It's either that or I need a speech therapist Huh? Anyone have thoughts on alexa plus? Yeah missed tech meeting I think has this come up yet.
