Subject: [iDevices] Important! Submit Your Tech Showdown Questions, Welcome a New Panelist, and More

Please read this entire email to the end. It contains additional information on how to submit questions for our Tech Showdown, along with other additions and corrections.

…………………

Windows or Mac? Mac or iPad? Android versus iOS? JAWS versus Voiceover? Have you ever thought about these questions? Maybe you’ve asked them yourself. Or, maybe you’ve just heard that true professionals cannot use a Mac, that iPads are not good for productivity, or that Windows PCs crash every five minutes. Do you find yourself wondering what the truth really is, and which devices are right for you?

Join us for a special live face off event, when four tech experts go head-to-head in the ultimate tech showdown to make their case for their favorite tech platforms. This two hour debate-style event promises to excite, entertain, and inform you, as the tech gurus battle it out live - not in a cage or in the octogon ring, but in the equally high-intensity atmosphere of a Zoom session. It’s like UFC for the tech nerd.

Make the popcorn and the fried party snacks, chill the sodas, place your bets, although we don’t actually condone betting of any kind, and make sure to join us live for this special event.

The Ultimate Tech Showdown takes place on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 8PM Eastern Time, and the Zoom join info is at the end of this message.

What to Expect:

First off, before we can have a showdown, we must have questions, and that is where you come in. Instructions will be provided below on how to submit your questions. You will be part of shaping this debate. Our moderators will choose the final list of questions. Moderators may supplement the discussion with questions of their own, and there may be time for live Q and A at the end, though this is not guaranteed, so be sure to submit your questions ahead of time for consideration.

We will use classic debate format for this event - with each panelist getting three minutes for opening statements, and questions being directed to individual panelists, with opportunities for other panel members to chime in. Each panel member will also be given five minutes for closing statements. Panelists will not see the questions ahead of time and will have no chance to hear them until they are asked live.

How to Submit Your Questions:

Before you begin, please read this entire email carefully, particularly the guidelines for question submissions. Please observe the following important guidelines:

*All questions must be submitted via email, to the address provided below.

*no more than three questions per-person please.

*no follow-up emails with additional questions

*No questions about the debate format, event times, or anything else - only questions for our panelists. All other questions should be directed to normal TTJ contact methods.

*Questions must be on topic and may include hardware and software questions, operating system questions, app questions, and screen reader questions.

*This is not a tech support session. Questions like, why doesn’t my iPhone ring, are not intended for this debate.

*Keep all questions concise - maximum three sentences per question.

*No profanity, no derogatory questions/comments, and no bashing panelists

*No comments, personal stories, or opinions - only questions

*Do not attempt to answer questions you think others may have.

*Nothing off-topic!

Not all questions may be included. Our moderation team reserves the right to modify or exclude any questions for any reason, and at their sole discretion.

Please send all questions to the following email address:

Tech-showdown at ttjtech.biz

In the subject line, please type “Questions for Tech Showdown”.

Type your questions in the body of the email message according to the above guidelines. If you know which panelist you’d like to address your question to, please state the panelist’s name followed by a colon, then type the question. If you have multiple questions, please separate each question by two blank lines.

Do not include any advertising or any other information in your email. Emails will not receive replies. Do not contact us to check the status of your questions. Please submit all questions by no later than 11:59PM Eastern Time on Friday, January 23, 2026.
