I thought Straight-talk was like Consumer Cellular or other low-cost options. We use Selecttel, which uses Verizon towers. She has a phone number and can facetime but if you call her number no such thing. Who ever got her the iPhone has set her up with something called stratetalk from Walmart. They didn’t set the phone up right for her. Since she has apparently a limited minutes, should she enable wifi calling? I’m aware that she can’t make 911 calls unless she assigns a number because wifi calling transmits not a phone number but data packets to a dispatcher. Will she be able to make calls with wifi and will she be able to receive calls from any of us using the regular cell service. Also what else should she do if she does enable wifi calling?
