[Nmabs] Updates from last meeting.

Hi all,
I am pleased to announce that I have some updates to pass along to you.
1. I have spoken with Christine about the T-shirts and will proceed to
find out more information.
2. I am waiting for Claudia Maartinez the president of the parents'
division to call me back with the latest information on the Horse back
riding event which is August 1st.
3. I have ordered the presidential release so Terese can give us a
report at the next meeting if we get it in time
4. I spoke with someone from the state fair consessions. The price for
a booth which is 10 by 10 in the Manuel Lujan building is $1200 for 17
days and we'd need people manning the booth everyday Sun-Thurs 10 am
to 9 pm abd Fri-Sat 10 am to 10 PM. There is also a $250 cost for
badges which admit us to the grounds and building and two season
parking passes for the time we are there. The badges cost $75 each
which we get two and the parking passes cost $50 each which we also
get ttwo. The total cost for the booth is $1450.00 plus we have to
provide table chairs, and anything we need to use to have our items on
such as display cases or anything like that. I ned your thoughts on
this ASAP so we can move on to another idea. There is also an
application that we would need to fill out, which would cost us $25
and could not be refunded.
5. Monica has been playing phone tag with Veronica from the balloon
fiesta so I will have an update about that coming soon.
