Oddly, Canvas is better in that department, but is terrible with the email
tool.

ditto. I cannot always read/post to discussion board because jaws doesn't 
read the
boxes and buttons.

I've used and still use blackboard for school, and the only problem I
have is discussion board doesn't always read well.
