[nobe-l] Extension of Ryles (1996)

I am looking into Braille vs. alternative reading aids (magnifiers,
large-print, aural media) for a grad class, and cited Ruby Ryles' 1996 work
that included employment figures for Braille readers vs. non-Braille
readers in my last paper.

Does anyone know if there are been any significant, longitudinal work done
on this topic (specifically dealing with employment figures) since then?
