Kelsey,
Two quick things I noticed about the letter.
1) IN the address heading, you have "Mrs." and in the greeting you have
"Ms.". You will want to stick to one or the other.
2) I would change the closing to something other than "Sincerely yours".
I feel that is one you would use with someone you know better. I would
make it more formal. Even something like "Thank you" or "Appreciatively" or
"Professionally".
Just some thoughts!
Nicole

Hello,
I drafted a letter to send to the President of the online tutoring
company I posted about in my last post. I will copy and paste it below
this email. Please take a look at it and let me know what I could do
to make it clearer.
Thank you,
Kelsey Nicolay

Dear Ms. Ginsberg,
I am very interested in joining your team as an online tutor. I have
experience tutoring elementary reading. As a result, I feel I would be
a good fit in your organization.
Due to my vision impairment, I use a screen reader which reads the
information on the screen aloud. This allows me to access the computer
independently. Due to the nature of the software, I am only able to
access certain features of the site. However, I am having difficulty
accessing the visual aspects of the classroom software. Therefore, I
would like to discuss alternative ways in which I could still be a
part of the tutoring team. Please call or email me to discuss this. I
look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely Yours,
Kelsey Nicolay
