Hello all. My name is Christopher Sabine, and I am currently Secretary of
the Cincinnati Chapter of NFB and currently working at home. I'm writing
because I have been accepted as a tutor for Chegg, which provides online
tutoring for secondary and post-secondary students as well as online
textbook rentals. I need to know if anyone in your division has had any
experience with the Web-based platform Chegg uses and if it is accessible to
those using screen readers (either JAWS or NVDA). This platform is primarily
usable with Mozilla Firefox or Chrome on a PC; I'll be working from a
Windows-based PC running the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. I have both JAWS
and NVDA on my system. I use JAWS almost exclusively, but could revert to
NVDA if there is any indication that it is more usable with this platform
than JAWS. I spoke with Clara from the National Braille and Technology
Center, and no one at the National Office has apparently heard of this
platform.

Again, thank you for the opportunity to join this group, and any information
concerning the Chegg platform would be greatly appreciated.

Very Best Regards,

Chris
