[nobe-l] NFB Camp Volunteers

Hello all,

As a board member of the Community Service division, I wanted to let you know about an exciting project we are partnering with NFB Camp at this year's convention, that would be an excellent volunteer opportunity for anyone involved in education or who would like to give back to the community. This project will focus on random acts of kindness and how children can give back to their communities. Children will be creating colorful signs and cards with positive messages. They will then take their cards and signs out to the hotel parking lot and place them on the cars of hotel guests to brighten their day. Volunteers would be responsible for helping children to create their cards and assisting them in placing them on cars in the parking lot. We plan to have plenty of supplies, so if you would also like to make a card you would be more than welcome. This event will be taking place on July 10 at 3 PM.
