Hello. My name is Rachel and I am currently a student in the
independence training program at Blind Industries and Services of
Maryland. I studied theology and am interested in being a campus
minister or religion teacher at a Catholic or Christian secondary
school. If there are any other religious studies teachers out there,
I'd love to hear from you. I'm also interested in hearing from middle
and high school teachers in related fields such as language arts and
social studies about the challenges you face and adaptations you use.
I'd like to observe a blind teacher in action if there is someone in
the area who would be willing and able to let me come into your
classroom.
