All teachers sighted and blind regardless of grade or subject need to earn their students respect; you do not need 20-20 vision to be respected.  I can offer some suggestions preferably via phone; please forward your number.  Best, David ticchi

Many schools have a teacher's aid in the classrooms. Ask your school about their teacher's aids program. My experience is that some students will try to get by with misbehavior no matter what you do.
