sorry Kate and Walei. I made an announcement at the meeting but forgot to follow up with you guys. Because of the  international shipping, I considered it best to have the chargers shipped directly to Dallas. That, and how unfunny the Tsa agents might find a blind chick carrying 50 battery packs.  I will be handing out chargers on the honor system, five or however many you think you can sell at a time. They will cost $20_  If they do well I can order more in time for chapter and membership seemed pretty excited about them, although you never know until the rubber hits the road. 

Chapter meeting was OK. You missed some input from Ray against the new scheme to give Access-a-ride patrons free metrocards, due to the potential for people to sign up with spurious need, and the chance that user patterns from the Metrocards might hurt people in their eligibility redeterminations. You missed the handing out of Macy's coupon fundraisers. Donna Lee English brought her sister, and I couldn't tell them apart. We played a truth or lie game. And, we talked about the 3086 conference that Former Gov Patterson had on the steps of City Hall Wednesday. Turns out there are quite a few agencies still paying subminimum wages to some workers in New York, though none in the city. we are boycotting Goodwill because of this. In related news, I don't know to donate all the old furniture that people moving out of my house leave  behind. I've been boycotting Salvation Army for years because they aren't GLBT-FRIENDLY, and now  Gdwill is out. If conscientious consumerism is going to turn me into a hoarder, I will be very itter. More than usual. 

OK guys. We're gonna sell a lot of chargers.  Get your cheesy catchphrases ready people. Buy a charger, it's empowering.  Etc.  Get ready for some tex-mex sushi and that one guy you will see in the elevator thirty-two times and who is telling the same story each of those times. get ready to be sincerely inspired but also so sleep-deprived that you would give up state secrets for a cup of coffee. Only four more days until the beautiful madness that is NFB 2012.
