Blind SVG: 3-Week Workshop (virtual)
Wednesdays, 7-9 PM Eastern
• January 7
• January 14
• January 21
SVG is a coding language a lot like HTML, but we use it to create and move
lines and shapes. SVG can be especially useful to blind people who want to
do digital drawing and design, since traditional digital drawing tools
aren't accessible.
This study group will work best for you if you are comfortable using a
screen reader, but you don't need to have coding experience or art
experience.
You might use SVG if you are:
A teacher, student or worker who needs to create diagrams, graphs or floor
plans
A designer who wants to create a mock-up of a screen or product
An artist who wants to make precise images and logos
Anyone who enjoys creative coding and trying something new

Please help us spread the word and let your blind and low-vision friends
and colleagues know about this opportunity.
