You have probably done this but have you looked on bookshare or learning ally? There is a place in Kentucky that produces etexts for a university and I lucked out once in getting an accessible text that was only available in print. Let me pull up my document of saved info on finding books and email you the information. It has only been lucky once but sometimes luck is what you need. I have collected over the years information and have quite a large document around sixteen pages of places that provide accessible texts. Not all of them are textbook related so please let me know if you want it in full or if you just want the info of this obscure place I found by chance in Kentucky. I love to read so over a ten year span I found this information through different magazines, friends and having to help with various projects. Besides these avenues just explain that by not scanning the book they are violating the a.d.a and you have every right to have it scanned or read without being in violation of copyright law.
