<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">Web accessibility is a big topic to tackle--but you don’t have to do it alone. The <a href="http://nfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=3570&qid=517798">National Federation of the Blind</a> (NFB), co-hosting with our local partners at the <a href="http://nfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=3571&qid=517798">Maryland Technology Assistance Program</a>, has gathered some of the most insightful experts in the field from both a technical and a policy perspective. We invite you to learn more from them about how to jump your accessibility barriers at the <a href="http://nfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=3569&qid=517798">Web Accessibility Training Day</a> on September 9. Whether you’re in government, education, or business, we have topics to interest and support you and speakers with experience in your area. The event will be conducted as part of the newly launched NFB Center of Excellence in Nonvisual Access to Education, Public Information, and Commerce, as part of its training initiative. The Center of Excellence serves to share the considerable knowledge that the NFB and its partners have of web accessibility in order to bring about greater accessibility in government, education, and business; to promote best practices nationally; and to build Maryland’s status
as leader in the accessibility field.</span></p>
