I am so excited and honored, and in my article, I couldn't do this without my NFB Family.
First, the story is going to be published in the Braille Monitor, to share with all my brothers and sisters who read it.
Second, Norwegian Cruise Lines, upon me asking them, is going to be a corporate sponsor of the event on March 12, I am not the only honoree, I am sharing this evening with 52 other women owned business. If you want to subscribe to read about all the honorees, you can go to www.fortune52.com and read all about them. After Speaking with the V.P. of Sales Camille Olivere and Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Passengers Services, they said they would be honored to do so.
Third, in the past NCL hasn't had an accessible computer in the passenger computer areas, to use for e-mails, etc. are looking to either install windoweyes or Jaws. I am working along side them again in this endeavor.
Because of you who have educated me about the issues NCL has had in the past with the Blind, I have been working hard in this for us all. This is what it means to be blind, and trying to change the world for the better.
One step at a time.
Nelson, will be taking, photos and videos of Maxx and myself all night.
FYI, if you live in NY, on Long Island, near New Hyde Park, or would like to come to the event, let me know, I can invite up to 20 guests for it. I need to know by March 7.
