[Nyagdu] Coughing

He did Tracy and at first we thought it was allergies it did look like
anything was wrong and it went on for a year or more but not all the time.
about a year later we ended up at the emergency vets and he was diagnosed
with laryngeal paralysis. It frequently occurs in larger breed dogs and
there is not much that can be done about it. It is the flaps in a dog's
throat that open and close when they bark or breathing and not working
correctly because they are not opening back up all the way so they are not
getting enough oxygen depending on how far they are not opening up. It gets
worse over time and from the time it was diagnosed to the day he had to be
put to sleep was 2 months. Coughing though can be from lots of other things
though so I wouldn't assume that is the problem. Brewster was 12.5 years
old at the time. I know Ben is getting up there but given the time of the
year it could be just allergies. Lets hope it is something simple like
that!
