Hi, OABSters,

As the subject implies, good news and bad news.

Good news, the Gavel report is in with all the up-to-date information
that was sent to me. I have read over the document several times, and
it really does show our division as it has grown over the past year.
Thanks to all who contributed information to the document; now let's
keep our fingers crossed for that most improved award!

Bad news, we barely have quorem for a meeting tonight. I know the
line was being difficult for Aleeha and I, but even had both of us and
Emily and Lillie, who were able to get through, all been on the call
all been there, that still isn't a lot of people for convention being
just a little over a month away. Aleeha was the only person who told
me they were having problems calling in in addition to myself, so I'm
assuming that she and I were the only ones experiencing technical
problems.

We can start talking about the basket over email, however I think that
would be really inefficient. It might have worked for the awards
packet when we were writing, word choice mattered, etc, but for
something like this I think verbal conversation is vital.

If possible, I would like for us to meet before the fundraising
meeting next week to discuss how we're going to handle this basket, if
we even want to do it at all, etc. Of course, suggestions via email
are welcome, but this is a division project, so we need more than four
people to be involved.

Tomorrow, I know that Emily, Lillie, and I will be at the board
meeting in Columbus. We'll be raffling off our gift cards, mingling
with the affiliate, and will get a sneak peak at our convention
location at the Holiday Inn Wurthington. I hope we'll have some good
news to bring back to the list once we get home.
