[Oagdu] Saw this on the news.

Megan a state can have a law that is less restrictive than federal law
but not more restrictive.  This woman is technically correct about her
bird in the store according to Ohio law.  The Ohio law consistently
references assistance animals rather than service animals. Since the
Ohio law is less restrictive than ADA the federal government will not
interfere in Ohio enforcing the law.  I doubt this woman knows the
law.  I certainly didn't until a few months ago.  Kroeger is also
correct that they are following ADA.  The woman should have brought
out the Ohio law on her iPhone and showed it to them.  (smile)
