Megan,
I respect your decision to leave the email list. 
I don't think Marianne was trying to upset you, she was just reminding you that when you change the topic of discussion, that you also need to change the subject of the email itself. I think that we all try to be respectful on this list, but sometimes it's hard to express oneself in writing, and sometimes people get the wrong idea of what you are trying to say.
