Our annual in-person Oagdu meeting will take place on Saturday, November 21st. The meeting will start at 12:15 and the room location will be announced as soon as possible. We will have a guest speaker, conduct our normal business meeting, and hold elections (for President and Secretary). If time allows, we are also encouraging people to bring in different tools that we use with our guide dogs. So, bring in your special equipment (ex: Halti, different collars, etc.) to show to the group! You can also show off any durable toys that your dog likes too, especially ones that others may not know about. Please also remember to bring $5.00 for your annual dues.

We have a very special item on our Oagdu agenda this year. We are having a Cleveland area vet come and speak with us about dog allergies and more. Thank you Annette for recommending and contacting her. Her name is Dr. Alice Jeromin, below is her bio from her website:

Alice M. Jeromin, D.V.M.
Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Dermatology Dr. Jeromin graduated from the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy in 1977 with a B.S. in Pharmacy. She worked as a hospital pharmacist at Marymount Hospital and Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital for 8 years before attending The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1989 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (D.V.M.). She became a board certified veterinary dermatologist in 1993 after a residency with Dr. Patrick Breen, Diplomate ACVD, Cincinnati, Ohio. Her grant-funded research dealt with Sebaceous Adenitis in the Standard Poodle. She is an adjunct professor at Case Western Reserve University College of Medicine, past president of the Cleveland Academy of Veterinary Medicine, and a member of the Cleveland Dermatological Society, American Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, Summit County Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Veterinarians for Animal Rights, and Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine. She continues to teach and lectures both locally and internationally and is a contributing author to DVMNewsmagazine (www.dvmnewsmagazine.com<http://www.dvmnewsmagazine.com/>).
Dr. Jeromin lives with 6 rescued cats and an 11 year old rescued Golden Retriever with allergies in an 1805 log home which she and her husband, a pharmacist, have relocated and restored.
